The Netherlands-based JUDY is a 23-year-old independent singer/songwriter within the
contemporary r&b scene.
She started off by uploading covers on her social media. But singing only wasn’t enough for her. Throughout the years JUDY has developed a major passion for photography, videography and creating content, so she decided to recreate the original artwork of the covers all by herself. Her love for visuals is as big as her passion for music itself and she wants to make sure that shows off through her own musical content.

JUDY asserts herself as an ambitious and strong presence with the drive to become a multitalented
artist. She strives to keep on improving herself and taking on every opportunity among the way.
People close to JUDY describe her style as artistic, minimalistic and colorful, but like in deep colors. “It’s a typical JUDY thing”, is something they would say. She often gets compared with artists like Sade, Charlotte Day Wilson and Tanerélle because of her sultry voice and low range.
In September this year she released her debut single ‘Fool Yourself’ and shortly after that she released ‘Is It Me’. Her latest work ‘Don’t / Unbothered’ is a so-called ‘bundle’ that consists of 2 songs with a common theme and storyline. She voices a message of empowerment to herself but most importantly, to other women.

De in Nederland gevestigde JUDY is een 23-jarige onafhankelijke singer / songwriter binnen de hedendaagse r&b-scene.
Ze begon met het uploaden van covers op haar social media. Maar zingen alleen was niet genoeg voor haar. Door de jaren heen heeft JUDY een grote passie ontwikkeld voor fotografie, videografie en het creëren van content, dus besloot ze het originele artwork van de covers zelf na te maken. Haar liefde voor visuals is net zo groot als haar passie voor muziek en ze wil er zeker van zijn dat dat ook naar voren komt in haar eigen muzikale content.

JUDY profileert zichzelf als een ambitieuze en sterke aanwezigheid met de drive om een veelzijdige artiest te worden. Ze streeft ernaar zichzelf te blijven verbeteren en elke kans met beide handen te grijpen.
Mensen die dicht bij JUDY staan, omschrijven haar stijl als artistiek, minimalistisch en kleurrijk, maar als in diepe kleuren. "Het is een typisch JUDY-ding", zouden zij zeggen. Ze wordt vaak vergeleken met artiesten als Sade, Charlotte Day Wilson en Tanerélle vanwege haar zwoele stem en laag register.
